What Can Be Customised
Every structural and material element of an Arab Muzalat tent can be specified to the client's requirement:
Size and footprint:
- Any dimension — not limited to 3 m or 6 m increments. A 7.4 × 11.2 m tent to fit an irregular villa garden? That is a standard custom order.
- Multiple connected bays for L-shaped or U-shaped footprints.
- Height: centre ridge height from 2.4 m to 5.0 m depending on intended use and site clearance.
Fabric:
- Material type: traditional goat-hair weave, canvas, HDPE shade fabric, PVC-coated polyester, or polycarbonate panels.
- Weight (GSM): from 260 GSM light shade fabric to 650 GSM heavy-duty event PVC.
- Colour: any solid RAL colour for PVC, any dye bath colour for canvas and woven fabric, or printed patterns for marketing and branding applications.
- UV rating and fire-retardant specification to match UAE civil defence requirements.
Frame:
- Material: galvanised steel, powder-coated steel, or aluminium extrusion.
- Pole profile: round, square, or octagonal section.
- Finish: any powder coat RAL colour, or hot-dip galvanised for coastal properties.
- Joint type: pinned (knock-down for portability), bolted (semi-permanent), or welded (permanent installation).
Entry points and access:
- Number and position of doorways.
- Door type: simple opening panel, zippered closure, roll-up fabric door, or solid framed door with lockable hardware.
- Ventilation: mesh gable panels, vent caps in the ridge, or open eave sections.
Integrated utilities:
- Lighting mount points: integrated through hollow pole channels.
- AC sleeve ports for wall-mounted units.
- Flooring anchor points: floor ring bolts through the base hem for securing carpet, timber flooring, or modular floor tiles.
- Branding panels: replaceable printed fabric inserts for event or corporate identity.
The Arab Muzalat Custom Design Process
The process from initial contact to installed structure follows six stages:
- Consultation: A site visit or detailed brief covers the intended use (wedding, permanent majlis, event hire stock, retail installation), the site constraints (access, ground type, existing structures), capacity requirement, and any aesthetic preferences.
- Technical drawing: The design team produces a dimensioned plan, elevation drawings, and a materials schedule. The client reviews and approves before any material is ordered. Changes at this stage cost nothing.
- Sample review: A physical fabric swatch and a pole sample are supplied for client approval. Colour decisions are always made from physical samples, not screen-viewed images.
- Fabrication: Cutting, welding, and stitching is done in-house. For traditional canvas and woven structures, fabric panels are cut and stitched to the approved pattern. PVC structures use heat-welded seams throughout.
- Trial erection: The completed structure is fully erected at the workshop before delivery. Any issues with fit, tension, or finish are resolved before the structure leaves the facility.
- Delivery and installation: The crew delivers, erects the structure on site, and walks the client through the tension adjustment points, care requirements, and any seasonal maintenance steps.

Lead time depends on design complexity and material sourcing:
- Size variation on a standard design (standard materials): 7–14 days from approved drawing.
- New design with standard materials (PVC, canvas, HDPE): 3–4 weeks from approved drawing.
- Complex design with specialty materials (custom dyed fabric, printed panels, specialty frame finish): 6–8 weeks from approved drawing.
- Large multi-bay structures (12 m × 18 m and above): 6–10 weeks depending on material stock.
